Rebecca Caliendo

Ms. Caliendo was recently a soloist with Viennese Symphony of Chicago and Light Opera Works. She apprenticed with Sarasota Opera, performing Bridget in The Crucible and La Cugina in Madama Butterfly. She performed Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Hanna Glavari in Die Lustige Witwe, Laetita in The Old Maid and the Thief, and Madame Herz in Der Schauspieldirektor. Concert repertoire includes Mozart’s Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and Handel’s Messiah. Ms. Caliendo was a finalist in Union League Civic Opera Competition, Chicago’s National Bel Canto Competition, and a featured soloist during University of Missouri Singers’ European Tour.
