Russell Hoke

Baritone Russell Hoke began his career singing rock and roll, and in musical theater. During voice lessons, he discovered his voice is better suited for the opera stage. Mr. Hoke appeared in a US premiere of Noli Me Tangere with daCorneto Opera in Chicago. He has appeared as Frank in Die Fledermaus; Balthazar in Amahl and the Night Visitors; Second Priest in The Magic Flute; and Dr. Dulcamara in L’elisir D’amore, which he sang in Italy. Mr. Hoke will perform in December with Da Corneto Opera as Nabucco in Nabucco.
